On the morning of March 23, the Investment & Trade Fair of Gunnedah, New South Wales, Australia was held in Yinzhou. On the fair, Yinzhou signed several cooperative agreements with Gunnedah. Over 10 leaders of Gunnedah government were present at the fair. District leaders including Wang Zhaobo, member of the standing committee of CPC Yinzhou Committee and permanent deputy director of Yinzhou and Zhu Xiaoli, deputy director of Yinzhou attended the signing ceremony.
During the ceremony, Wang Zhaobo delivered a speech on the economic and social development of Yinzhou on behalf of Yinzhou government. He said Yinzhou boasted an inclusive and healthy business environment, attracting investment of 995 foreign enterprises from over 60 countries and regions. Meanwhile, 162 Yinzhou enterprises had invested USD2.22 billion in over 50 countries and regions. He hoped that the Investment & Trade Fair would help to deepen the cooperation between Yinzhou and Gunnedah on the fields of agriculture, animal husbandry, etc., which could in turn promote the mutually beneficial development of the two cities.
Jamie Chaffee, mayor of Gunnedah made an introduction to the business environment and economic development of Gunnedah. Regarding his visit as an opportunity for the cooperation between Yinzhou and Gunnedah, Chaffee said he looked forward to a closer cooperation with Yinzhou by increasing trade volume and promoting communications.

Seven enterprises from Gunnedah promoted investments on the fair. Officials of 26 Ningbo enterprises had talks with these Gunnedah enterprises in seek of cooperation.
Gunnedah is known as a region characterized by agricultural diversity with agricultural areas of over 400 thousand hectares. It is one of the four largest marketplaces for pastoral farming in New South Wales, Australia. Plus, As the Koala Capital of World, it is also a popular tourist attraction for numerous activities.
