On the morning of June 30， Yinzhou Coastal Culture Museum, one invested by an industrial park of Ningbo, opened. Dasong in Yinzhou enjoys unique geographical conditions, with a large number of historical and cultural heritages. Early in 2007, Yinzhou Binhai Investment & Business Center decided to open this museum. The newly-opened museum has distinct features of the coastal culture, with five themed exhibition halls, and over 1,200 exhibits of copper articles, chinaware, painting and calligraphic works, and folklore works. This museum aims to display the history of Dasong in the national defense, exploration of the coastal areas, the development of salt trade, and so on. It is an important indicator of the a phased success of the development of Dasong the coastal area of Yinzhou. As a district-level education base of patriotism, it was visited by 30 teachers and students of Central Zhanqi Primary School on the very day when it opened. |
