In the recently released list of 711 national-level inheritors of the intangible cultural heritages, there are 4 from Ningbo, including 2 from Yinzhou District. These two inheritors are Chen Mingwei, inheritor of bone-wood inlaying craft, and Chen Gaihong, inheritor of red-gold lacquered wood carving. With them, Yinzhou for the first time has national-level inheritors of intangible cultural heritages a very significant event for Yinzhou in its work of cultural heritages. The inheritors of national intangible cultural heritage are important inheritors and transmitters of intangible cultural heritages. With great mastery of intangible cultural heritages, they are living representatives of the intangible cultural heritages. The two inheritors in the recently released list are both inheritors of traditional Chinese fine arts. |
